that changed my life & mindset

I believe all of us have the potential to reach optimal health


Welcome to an insight into my world of great health and nutrition.  Allow me to tell you a little bit about myself and my wellbeing and nutritional journey....

I initially became a holistic health consultant and therapist whilst trying to help myself heal first. 18 years ago; whilst studying for my dance degree; I suffered a back injury and was hospitalised for 3 weeks.

The anti-inflammatory medication caused damage to the lining of my stomach and this inevitably prolonged my rehabilitation. Everyday tasks such as dressing, walking and even just sitting comfortably became very challenging.

‘This is not the life I am meant to live’

Despite the physical effects; the toughest part was the strain on my mental health and wellbeing. The positive, proactive person I had always been was being invaded with somebody who I no longer recognised.

‘Taking responsibility for my own health and trying to find natural

ways I could help myself heal’.

Although I accepted that I needed to allow my body to heal; I fixed my energies on the areas that I could control such as nutrition and refocusing my mindset. I spent a great deal of time researching food types that contain anti-inflammatory properties that aid muscle healing, as well as enhancing my energy levels and general mood.

I Practiced relaxation and mindfulness exercises to embody a more positive outlook.

As well as the enjoyment I felt from these processes; the continuity of my new positive behaviours began to heal me from the inside out, along with my new understanding of how nutrition and the right exercises can help. This enabled me to not only regain my happier self but also surpass that and improve my general contentment.

‘Hello to the new me’

You’ve heard the saying ‘practice what you preach’; and in my case; it was very much the drive to preach what I had practiced. I dedicated 3 years to education & training and became a practitioner in a variety of holistic therapies, I also qualified to teach in all the areas that I trained in which allowed me to impart my knowledge on others.  Combined with this; I became a fitness instructor and also trained in stress management and nutrition. I have taught a variety of holistic therapy qualifications for colleges and in the private sector and also delivered health and wellness workshops in the corporate world for over 15 years.

‘Conquering better health through resilience, determination and knowledge’.

Health & Wellbeing became my life. I lived and breathed anything relating to these areas. I wanted to share simple yet hugely effective methods with others.

I truly believe that physical, mental and nutritional health; collectively are the key areas for all round positive wellbeing.

I’m passionate about helping those on their mission to improve their lifestyle and I would love to be on that journey with you.
